After School Care

The school does not provide after-school care on site, however we are fortunate that Kiddywinks Nursery School is located next door to the St. James' site, providing independent after-school and breakfast club care.

Kiddywinks offers creative, stimulating and above all fun environment. Our children and young people are keen to attend and our parent carers feel safe leaving them to enjoy quality childcare run by experienced, approachable staff. We offer loads of activities everyday including arts/crafts, cooking, sport, music and drama.

Our holiday clubs also have visiting professionals who add to the mix with variety of skills, sports, animals, magic and cooking.

We provide a fun- filled and theme based recreational program with a variety of enriching activities which will keep your child busy, happy and safe!

By offering a wide selection of activities we aim to meet the needs of every child. So weather a child enjoys arts and crafts, toys and games, role play, reading, listening to music or being outdoors playing and/or participating in sports we deliver it!

Relationships between staff and children are excellent.

Our holiday club is a fantastic place for children. If you are seeking childcare that is sociably engaging and fun whilst offering a huge selection of activities then Kiddywinks is your first and last stop!

The club provides a fun, safe environment for children aged four and a half to eleven to play, learn and have fun after school hours. The after school club is open during the school term Monday to Friday from 3pm until 5.30pm.  The children are collected in the Kiddywinks mini bus from the school by Mr Chris and another staff member. We also provide holiday club for all school holidays (apart from the Christmas period) from 8.30am - 6pm and this is open to all children from the local community.

We aim to build confidence, self esteem and self worth by introducing new skills and building on exciting ones. Children can develop their full potential by being part of our lively club. The programme of activities is changed weekly through consultation with children so that they get the full benefits of all our equipment throughout the year.
