Welcome to JC3!
We are a Year 3 and Year 4 class at St James' School.
The class teacher is Mr Crouch and the teaching assistant is Mrs Rawlings, aided by Miss Rogers and Mrs Nixon.
This Autumn term we will be looking at 2 mini topics.
In the first half term we will be exploring the Roman Army and how they lived, worked, dressed and the their day to day function within the Roman Empire.
In the second half of the term we will consider volcanoes and how they are formed and the effects, both positive and negative, on the surrounding area both human and physical.
We will look at Pompeii and what we can learn about both volcanoes and also Roman life at the time of the catastrophic event.
Don't forget ...
In order to get your weekly house point for reading, you must read at least four times a week, to an adult, who then needs to sign your homework diary for the Monday morning.
We will collect your diary and award house points to all those children who have done as asked. Remember to get an adult to sign your diary and bring it on Monday morning -
as you should every day.
If you forget your diary on the Monday we can't award your house point for that week!
