We are in the process of having the drawings produced for our building work that will be taking place to adapt the beautiful Cotswold stone building. The nursery will be based in the large classroom that currently is used as a hall. Dedicated changing and toilet facilities are going to be installed and access to an extended outdoor area for our nursery class.
Our Class 1 children will be in an adjoining room but have the opportunity to allow the Reception children to share the continuous provision and outdoor areas with the nursery children.
Please find below a picture of our initial drawings which are being used to produce official plans for the redevelopment.
We are excited to share the news that we will be opening a Little Pickles Nursery at the Ebrington site. After research and advice from Gloucestershire County Council Early Years service, who have confirmed there is a demand for further places in the area, we will be opening our nursery provision from September 2021. We hope that the nursery will help to build our numbers on role in our school moving forward, help us to adapt and develop as a school and as part of the North Cotswold Schools Federation.
The nursery will be based at the Ebrington site and will have the use of the fantastic outdoor amenities which will continue to be developed over time with the support of funds and income from the nursery. There will be some alterations made to the building and some general repairs to further develop and maintain the Ebrington building. We are looking forward to working with parents and the local community to develop the site and establish our nursery which will of course feed into the Ebrington and St. James’ sites.
If you would like more information about the provision that will be available please have a look at our leaflet below or contact the school office. We will update this section of the website with the relevant information when it is ready. If you have any questions regarding the provision then please do contact Miss Georgina Holder Nursery Manager and Acting Head of School.
Nursery sessions will be available from 7.45am until 5:00pm each week day during term time for children from 2 years-old up to school age.
We look forward to working with you on this journey.
