The Cotswold Floorball League's 'B' Team competition still has a long way to go. St James & Ebrington 'B', Dormer House and Willersey are still in a position to challenge for a place in the final. However, the holders, Sedgeberrow, are now in pole position after two good wins. Three quick fire goals by Ryan Baines, Jamie Cape and Tom Crawford gave them a lead over Temple Guiting, who did well to prevent any further scores for the majority of the game. Baines and Crawford again scored in a 2-0 win over St James & Ebrington C. This was the C Team's best performance so far, being denied on several occasions by goalkeeper Zak Freeman. The second goal was the best of the night, combining a save by Freeman, a defensive clearance, inter-passing between Baines, Alfie Vickery and a simple finish from Crawford.
Temple Guiting and Ilmington fought out a goal less draw, despite both teams having several chances. Ilmington were in defensive mode against the C Team, which was kept at bay by goalie Louis Adcock. Not even he could stop the one goal such pressure must produce, which took a wicked bounce on being struck and looped high over his head.
The evening rounded off with a couple of extended friendlies, Reds/Whites (Ilmington and St James & Ebrington) defeated Blues (Sedgeberrow and Temple Guiting) 3-1. Reds and Whites then went on to play a 0-0 draw.
Dormer House beat the C Team with goals from Will Droy and Logan Drysdale Mills. Going on to play Temple Guiting, Droy again opened the scoring before Richard Upton started to command his goal area and set up attacks with his throws. One of these went through to Harry Keighley who levelled the scores and earned his team a point.
